Connection Classes

Brief Overview

Each weekend hundreds of individuals--single, engaged, married, divorced and senior adults meet in classes of various sizes to connect with other adults relationally, and learn what the Bible says about God and about us.   (These were originally referred to as Sunday School classes).  The main focus is two-fold: Having a time of fellowship and Studying the Bible together.  Most of the classes are interactive.

Maybe You're New
Don't worry if you think you don't know enough about the Bible to participate.  Everyone is at a different place in their spiritual walk and you won't be "put on the spot" to answer any questions, although feel free to do so.  By considering a Connection Class, your probably have a desire to learn more about God's Word.  Since we have many classes to choose from, you may want to consider attending different ones for several weeks until you find the one that seems to best fit you.
How Long Does A Class Last?
From start to finish, classes last about an hour and fifteen minutes. That includes time to visit with others a few minutes for information and announcements, and about thirty to thirty-five minutes of study time.
What Do I Do if I Have Kids?
They have Bible Study from birth thru 5th grade with fun games, crafts, worship time and so much more. These classes are age appropriate to meet the needs of your child and each class is led by trained, caring adults.  Check out A.R.K. Place and Light Shine City under the Children's section of our webpage for more details.
There is also Bible Study from 6th grade through college.  They are divided into Middle School (6th-8th), High School (9th-12th) and college age.  See the CSM (CONCORD Student Ministries) web page for more detail.
