What Is A LIFE Group?
LIFE Groups are 10-12 people (including a trained leader/s) who are committed to applying God's word to their lives, to support, encourage and pray for one another and to live in authentic relationships. LG's are similar to small groups, except LG's are "message based." This essentially means that questions and discussion statements are written out, based upon the content of Sunday morning's message, and are available in the weekend bulletin and on our webpage. LG members then respond to these questions and statements on their own and prior to their LG meeting. The meetings occur on various evenings in members' homes, not on the campus of Concord. LG's meet on a weekly basis for 10 week sessions; spring, fall, and winter. Summertime is reserved for outside activities or social events, but not necessarily on a weekly basis. We believe LG's are one of the key vehicles for spiritual and relational growth, and fits our Mission Statement which is: "To connect the hearts of people to the heart of God through loving relationships and the Word of God."
