ECHO is an acronym which means: Evangelizing Christians; Helping Others. The gist is to be Christians who seek and pray for opportunities to share their faith with others, and to be able to serve others through many various ways, including monetarily. We are a co-ed group of adults ages 60 and up. We use the literature from the Southern Baptist Convention as our guide for Sunday morning Bible study. Our current teacher, Roger Turner, is a retired pastor. We are a friendly, caring, mission minded and a praying group. We also share in many socials as we believe this is one of the best ways to get to know each other, plus it gives any of our guests or new members, an opportunity to get to know us in a casual and non-threatening way as well. Prayer is so important to our class members that we have a prayer calendar and we lift each other and others up every day. Come check us out at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in Room 231.
